Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage (kielbasa or other smoked varieties)
  • 1 medium Onion (yellow onion)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (fresh minced)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (or butter)
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth (or vegetable broth)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the cabbage into thin strips and dice the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the diced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced cabbage and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until tender.
