Description

A delicious creamy pasta dish made with chicken, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sauté until golden brown (about 5 minutes per side). Remove from pot and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same pot and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to the pot along with pasta, heavy cream, chicken broth, and dried herbs. Stir well.
  5. Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve warm with extra Parmesan if desired.
