- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 1/2 cups chopped peaches (fresh, canned, or thawed frozen)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mix until combined.
- Fold in chopped peaches gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before glazing.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze; drizzle over cooled cake.

- This cake is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
