Description

Deliciously crispy pepperoni slices topped with a flavorful cheese blend, perfect for a savory snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4050 slices of pepperoni (approximately 4 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a spicy kick
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheeses until well combined for a flavorful cheese blend.
  3. Add Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the cheese mixture and toss to evenly distribute the flavors. If you like a little heat, add red pepper flakes to taste.
  4. If your pepperoni slices are large, cut them in half so that each piece is a manageable bite-sized crisp.
  5. Lay the pepperoni slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart to allow the cheese to melt and crisp properly.
  6. Generously sprinkle the seasoned cheese mixture evenly over each pepperoni slice, ensuring each has a good cheese coverage to melt and crisp up.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, lightly golden brown, and the pepperoni edges are crispy.
  8. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the crisps to cool on the sheet for a few minutes so they firm up before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve immediately as a savory snack or appetizer. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired for a touch of color and freshness.
  10. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. When ready to enjoy again, reheat briefly in a toaster oven or air fryer to restore their crispness.
