Description

A creamy and cheesy orzo pasta bake that’s perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • fresh herbs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly coat your baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Prepare the orzo pasta in vegetable broth according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, heavy cream, garlic powder, mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  5. Pour the mixture into your greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs before plating.
