- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- fresh herbs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly coat your baking dish with olive oil.
- Prepare the orzo pasta in vegetable broth according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, heavy cream, garlic powder, mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into your greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before plating.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, feel free to use chicken broth instead of vegetable broth.
- Additional vegetables can be added to the dish as desired.
