Description

A delicious penne pasta recipe with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (warm)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 0 tsp salt
  • 0 tsp black pepper
  • 0 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add flour and whisk to form a roux. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Slowly add warm milk, whisking continuously until smooth and thick.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in cheese until melted.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Simmer briefly and serve hot, garnished with herbs.
