Description
A delicious baked mahi mahi recipe topped with fresh lemon and garlic.
Ingredients

- 5–6 fillets mahi mahi
- 2 large lemons
- 1 small red onion (sliced)
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp thyme
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Chili flakes to taste (optional)
- Olives to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly oil a baking pan and set aside.
- Use a paper towel to pat the fish dry.
- In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, thyme, and parsley. Set aside.
- Slice the lemons and thinly slice the red onion into rings.
- Lay lemon slices on the baking pan.
- Place fish on top of lemon slices, with each fillet having 2 slices underneath.
- Top each fillet with a pinch of salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes for heat.
- Spread the parsley mixture on top of the fillets.
- Top each fillet with two thinly sliced pieces of butter.
- Layer sliced olives and sliced onions on the fillets if desired.
- Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until the center of the fillet is flaky and cooked thoroughly.
- The insides should be white and not grey (if there is grey on any areas, it means you cooked it too long).
Notes
- If you want it sweet, add 2 tbsp honey to the garlic mixture.
