A delicious noodle pudding that can be served warm or cold, perfect as a side dish, breakfast, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ¾ cup raisins
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 8 ounces brick cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F with an oven rack in the middle position. Coat a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place raisins in a small bowl and cover with hot water; sprinkle over the top of the kugel.
  3. Bake the kugel, uncovered, for about 1 hour until the center is set and the tips of the noodles turn golden brown.
