Description

A delicious and easy recipe for creamy peanut butter fudge.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 16 oz brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  • 1 cup butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square dish with foil or parchment paper, so the dish has handles on the sides so the peanut butter fudge can be easily removed.
  2. Add the butter and brown sugar to a medium pot over medium heat, stir, and melt, add the peanut butter, stir, and bring to a boil, making sure to stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a steady boil and then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and then the powdered sugar one cup at a time.
  5. Once thoroughly combined, transfer to the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
  6. Set aside to cool and set for about an hour.
  7. When ready, remove from the baking sheet and cut into squares.
